Inherent variations in the wood and stone, as well as variance resulting from the hand finishing process, are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
Travertine has natural pitting of varied location that adds to the stone’s character. Larger pits are filled; smaller holes are left unfilled.
As a natural material, all stone is porous and can be nicked, stained or scratched; avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on surface
Use coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth free of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials. Avoid direct sunlight and heat to protect the finish.
